It was magical.
The way two simple trays could transform a tiny little negative into a print.
The way you could watch the image form right in front of your eyes.
The way that red glow would bring an inexplicable sense of
wonder and surprise as you watched a memory come to life.

It’s a bit like having children.
Constant wonder in the tiny little people you now watch
transform and grow before your very eyes.

What a gift to be able to capture these lives, mine and those that allow me into theirs.
I’ve always loved photography, I just never really took myself seriously. I never thought I could actually do this. It’s always been a side job for me and now I’m putting my whole self into it to see what happens when I actually believe in myself and try.

My approach to photography is to capture the absolute essence of the memory itself.
I like to catch a person off guard in the middle of a laugh, a family trying to settle down a terrible two year old, kids playing together. I like the real stuff.

I’ll take the time to get you the right photo.
